So yesterday I had a go at acupuncture and it was surprisingly relaxing despite the fact that they are stabbing you with needles. I got a pretty good rundown from Irwin who was the acupuncturist about how this works. It basically is used to help open up blocked energy paths in your body.
I felt pretty tired after the session a little light headed but i felt more mobility in my hip without there being any pain. Now come to the present day I went for a nice tempo at a 5.15 min/km pace for 10.70 km. I started to feel the pain come back. I am not sure if its just sore from the needles or its still hurting because there is something wrong with my hip. Stay tuned as we will see how I feel after my long run on Saturday. :O
Oh and the shoes I used were the Nike zoom fly 3. Its been a while and I missed my babies so i had to put them on for this run.
